Disciplinary Issues on the Rise
Disciplinary incidents in spring league saw a major increase over the last two weeks and the executive has made the following changes:
- 18U Boys - Handshake line to take place before the game, NOT after.
- Spectator Disruption (11c.20 in the Rulebook) - will result in spectator ban for the team for the remainder of the season.
- Any parent found entering the court of player in any dispute with face an automatic 1 year ban.
- Ejected Coaches (including ejections from multiple technicals) will get an automatic 2 game suspension (usually 1).
- Players involved in any fight or physical dispute will be suspended for the remainder of the season.
Most of you have been doing a great job avoiding incidents which require discipline, but unfortunately due to incidents rising on the whole, these changes need to be implemented for the rest of the spring season.
